Web 2.0 Awards
Well I decided to play around with Mango Languages from the Web 2.0 awards and have found a wonderful, useful and extremely easy to use site for learning languages. I played around with the French lessons and it was a great refresher course and would be great for first time learners. There is a lot of repitition of phrases and how they are used but it switches between having to translate between English first and French first so you really get to learn the phrases. I can see how this would be great for learning how to speak a language.

I have not heard of Mango Languages I will have to check that out, thanks! I am currently using www.edufire.com for one on one language tutoring for Spanish, and hopefully in the future Turkish. I also just found out that my local library has Rosetta Stone for Spanish, so I have reserved it and am next in line. I wonder what other programs they offer. You can't get better than FREE, lol. Good luck in your learning adventure!
Thank you Solar family for the review on eduFire. I believe Mango has alot to offer a student looking for a language learning site online; advanced technologies and good tools. Thank you both for blogging about the future of learning.
